The Physics Learning Room.
An expert-led space for 14-16 year olds. Cancel any time.

Calm, low-pressure lessons following content from the GCSE AQA Foundation specification
A calm, concept-led space where students explore the fundamental ideas of Physics over time. The focus is on understanding how the world works, answering fundamental questions, and building confidence — not racing through content or teaching to a deadline.
The ideas explored in the Learning Room align with the core topics found in AQA GCSE Foundation Physics, but lessons are not delivered according to an exam timetable. Topics are revisited and deepened, allowing learning to develop naturally rather than being rushed to meet an external schedule.
Who are the Learning Rooms for?
Students may be learning out of interest, as part of home education, world-schooling or alongside school-led GCSE study — the Learning Room is designed to support all of these pathways.
What does my child get?
- A 60-minute interactive livestream with John every Wednesday at 11am (and recorded for playback anytime).
- Practice resources to help consolidate understanding.
- Access to The Jam Space – a collaborative board to ask questions, share ideas, post work and connect with your peers (completely teacher moderatated for safeguarding).
